Even with the road systems set up within cities and communities and the laws laid forth regarding safe driving, accidents still happen. However, the more you pay attention to safety rules and regulations, the less likely you are to be involved in an automobile accident.

Keep up to date on your windshield repair. If you do notice any damages in your windshield, make sure to repair them as soon as possible.
Small chips can turn into larger cracks, which will either lessen your visibility when driving or crack altogether. You should also always make sure your mirrors are adjusted correctly when entering your vehicle.
If you are unable to see out of your side or rear-view mirrors, there is a great possibility that you will find yourself in an automobile accident. Keep these mirrors clean and adjusted correctly.
You should always be wary of other vehicles when you are driving. If you need to turn or change lanes, make sure to check all of your windows and mirrors.
Proceed with caution, and do not try to beat other cars if you are unsure that you will be able to turn or change lanes in time. It is best to remain safe at all times.
It is also necessary to be sure that you know where the blind spot in your vehicle is located. When you go to change lanes, you must be extra careful of this area.

If you make an effort every day to think clearly and be cautious while driving, while keeping all of your other passengers safe, you will prevent accidents and damage to your vehicle and keep you and the other riders in your vehicle out of harm.
