Whether you're an eighteen year old living on your own or an thirty year old living on your own, you need to start searching for a personal support worker if you're not able to care for yourself. You need to find some way to get the help you need by going online or asking friends and family to see if they can help you find someone that would take good care of you.
You can start by searching online immediately because you may have recently been in a car accident and have lost all feeling in your legs so you're trying to get by in a wheel chair, and it's not working out too well. It's also safer if a nurse stays with you because if something were to happen and no one will be there to take you to the hospital if you need to be, then you may not live long enough to see your next birthday.
As you can see their are dangers if you don't get on the ball and start searching for a personal support worker. These are dangers you want to avoid as long as you have someone staying with you to keep checking up on you and seeing if you need anything.
