One of the biggest concerns every morning for many teenage girls is how they look. They worry that they are not beautiful enough to catch the eye of their current crush.

This worry is spreading in plague proportions across the United States as the media portrays skinny, unreal beauties as the ideal beauty. This is shown through the demand for cosmetic surgery procedures as it has increased throughout the years.

Unfortunately for many people, cosmetic surgery is not an option because of the high prices and the associated risks. Instead, these people turn to the more inexpensive and temporary option of applying makeup every day.

Makeup needs to be applied in the correct manner if it is going to enhance beauty. Applied in an incorrect manner and makeup will not enhance beauty at all, but the less beautiful parts of the face.

One of the things that should be applied correctly is lip gloss. gloss for your lips is one of the easiest forms of makeup to learn how to apply correctly, but many people still apply it incorrectly.

Lip gloss is easier to apply correctly than lipstick because the process is much easier and choosing the right shade is also much easier. When selecting a shade of lipstick it is very easy to find a color you like, but when applied discover that the color clashes with the color of your skin.

In addition, it is very easy for lipstick colors to clash with eye makeup, your outfit, or almost anything. Selecting a color of gloss is easier because it is more transparent and shiny.

This allows you natural color to shine through slightly so that it blends with your skin better while the color of the lip gloss can still make your lips stand out. The shiny and iridescent nature of lip gloss can also make the gloss match the surrounding colors and environment much better.

When you have selected an ideal shade of lip gloss, you will be ready to apply it. First, you will want to make sure your lips are properly moist and conditioned.

This is critical to the final look of the lip gloss. The best way to achieve moist lips is to apply Vaseline, lip balm, or a moisturizing chapstick to your lips every time before you apply a gloss to your lips.

It is an added benefit if you can apply a moisturizer that will protect your lips from the sun as well. This can help you lips become even more moist and smooth as they are not subject to damage from the sun.

After you moisten and protect your lips, you will want to use a toothbrush or cotton swab to remove any dry skin that adds a rough appearance to your lips. After you have begun the habit of moistening your lips every day you should not need to brush off dry skin very often.

It is best if you do not have to remove any dry, peeling bits of skin. After you have completed this step you will want to apply a lip liner if you want to.

It is much more difficult to apply a lip liner after you have applied lip gloss. The best option is to apply it before you apply gloss for the lips if it will achieve the look you are seeking.

The liner should last longer than the lip gloss and will make sure that your lips still have a little color when the gloss wears off. Lip liner is also used to define the edge of the lip, which makes them look fuller and can hide flaws.

Do not apply the lip liner too thickly, or it will look strange when the gloss wears off. Most lip glosses are neutral shades that will add color, but enhance a natural look.

After the liner is applied, you can apply the lip gloss. Be careful not to apply too much because you can always add more, but it is hard to take off without needing to apply more.

After you are done applying the gloss, you will want to use a q-tip to remove any gloss that strayed off of your lip. Make sure you place your lip gloss in your bag or purse so that you will be able to reapply it later when it is needed.

Correctly applied lip gloss can greatly enhance how a person looks. Makeup is a tool that should be used properly.
