Comedy Central's Tosh.O was an underground hit when it launched its Soup-like web clip show in June 2009. Today, Daniel Tosh's comedy routine is one of the network's highest rated shows. Few expected that the show, which features standup comedian Tosh positioned in front of a green screen rallying off jokes from viral Internet videos, would become such a sensation, except maybe for Tosh.

The outspoken comedian, who in just 365 days has become an Internet sensation himself, has decided to keep the success rolling with a fall tour. Tosh Tour Twenty Ten will American theaters this year after wrapping season two of Tosh.O. See the man that has everyone talking with Daniel Tosh tickets online.

Similar shows like The Dish, Web Soup and the former Best Week Ever of VH1 have attempted to find success on a similar platform but none have succeeded quite like Tosh. Though the E! host fixture Joel McHale of The Soup averages about a million viewers a week, Tosh.O broke the mold when his second season earned double that. To top it off, Tosh's highest ratings topped itself at an incredible 2.4 million viewers. Critics can only speculate as to the reasons behind Tosh's surge to the top, but it may have to do with Tosh's own sheer enthusiasm.

His numbers are just high enough to top other daily web clip shows including Comedy Central favorites like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. "It's a show that came in under the radar and it's a truly word of mouth kind of show," Kent Alterman, head of original programming at Comedy Central, said to ABC News. "He hasn't been written about that much. There's really just one factor that stands out - the show is really funny." Tosh.O is a seasonal show that is taped in one big chunk, reports Laist.com, so Tosh's jokes are not time sensitive and have forced each segment to include a "what we missed" update.

With his second season behind him and plans for a January 2011 tour, Tosh heads out sans green screen and without a studio audience for a fall tour. The 60-city tour begins Sept. 24 and concludes Nov. 22 in Santa Rosa, Calif.

He's vulgar, hardly afraid of making a fool of himself and knows how to make people laugh. The star of Tosh.O, Daniel Tosh, became a college standout early in his career before earning a performance at Just for Laughs International Comedy Festival in Montreal. In 2001 Tosh appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, followed by his own Comedy Central special a year later. The CD/ DVD True Stories I Made Up was presented with his future cable network in 2005 and had critics hailing him as the less cocky, but funnier, Dane Cook. The album features his now infamous "Fictitious Disorder" that has allowed him to tell the absurd stories that ultimately connect.

Few comedy fans can complain about this standout comedian that has a wide audience and even wider mouth. From the college comedy circuit to Comedy Central, Tosh.O and Tosh's tour are huge hits.
