There is a lot of Harry Potter hype at present and if your kid is very involved in this sphere, then Lego has brought out a MUST have product. The Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle 4842 is a long awaited product that will have your kid playing for hours!
What does the product come with?
This is the fourth Hogwarts Castle that Lego has brought out, however this one definitely outranks the previous additions. This Lego 4842 set includes four buildings, each containing different rooms. Each building comes with Technic pins enabling the buildings to be changed around; hence you can create different buildings and let the imagination flow. The four building are those of the Astronomy tower, Gryffindor Tower, The Great Hall and Dumbledore's Office. Each building has incredible detail, i.e, Gryffindor and Slytherin banners and much, much more
The product itself comes with an astounding 1290 pieces making it the largest Harry Potter Lego Set at the time of writing this article. It is the only other set that includes the invisibility cloak. This Lego set also comes with 9 figurines, which for the first time includes the figures of Argus Filch, Mrs Norris and Professor Flitwick. Of course it includes Harry Potter himself, Hermione Granger, Lord Voldemort, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, and 2 Dementors.
The Story
The story behind the Hogwarts Castle is that of the impending battle between Harry and He who must not be named, Lord Voldemort. Lord Voldemort and the evil Dementors are surrounding the castle and now Harry Potter with the help of Professor Dumbledore need to face this evil and all powerful enemy.
Drawbacks
The reviews are out and the only drawback that I have found that people are a little disappointed about is that the figurine of Ron Weasley is not included in the set. However, if you have another set of Harry Potter Lego then you more than likely already have this figurine.
