People with a desperation to solve a problem are often easily willing to part with their money for a quick solution. This is where having a blog that addresses the need of such a group of people comes in handy. If you can build steady traffic and reader trust to a blog in one of these niches then you can unlock a goldmine.
Market # 2: People with a passion.
There are tons of hobbies that people are passionate about. A few examples are golfers, gardening, and woodworking.
If you've ever had a passion or hobby, you probably already know that people tend to spend a lot of money on these types of things. Being on top of newly developing products and services within a hobby and being able to report them on your blog as soon as you learn about them can be a great way to attract readers and make money.
If your preferred topic doesn't fall into one of the two categories above, don't sweat it. There are a lot of other profitable things to blog about. One way to tell if there's a market for the topic that you want to blog on is to go into Google and type the subject with the word 'forum' after it. If more than one forum pops up related to the subject that you want to blog about, then there's a pretty good chance you've picked a profitable topic.
