You are about to embark on a trip that could make or break your company. This is not really true but scenarios like this do happen every day. The business traveler will need to check on car rentals before they reach the city in which they will be conducting business.
Once they have arrived at the city where the appointment is going to take place, they have a choice of rental car companies to choose from. Most likely they have reserved a rental car from their favorite company or at least the most convenient for their business meeting.
After deplaning at the airport, it should be very easy for the traveler to locate the rental company, sign in, and pick up the car of their choice. Some rental companies are off the airport area and the customer will need to take a car rental bus to pick up the car.
This usually doesn't take very long, especially if you are a frequent traveler with the rental company. Most of the time you can go to the rental counter check in and go right to your rental car. It might be noted that some car companies don't require any check inand you will be able to go directly to the car pick up area and select the car you wish to use.
Now it is off to your hotel for a little extra time to prepare for your business meeting. Depending on the length of the meeting, you may be staying in the city for an extra day. Some meetings are short and other meetings will be longer and you will need to consider keeping your hotel room for one more night.
Once you have conducted all of your business and finished all of your meetings, check out of your hotel, and check on your flight to make sure it is on time. You will now be heading back to return your rental vehicle and board your flight home.
One can see how very important it is to make the proper plans when leaving on a business trip. The traveler will need a time schedule for getting from his city of departure, to his city of arrival and then of course, from the hotel if the meetings are not to be held there, to the meeting area, where ever that may be. The end of the meetings must be timed so the traveler can get back to their hotel room and prepare for the trip home. All of these things must come together in order for this trip be a success.
The choice of rental vehicle from all of the car rentals available may be just the one item that makes this business trip a success. The rental car company location to the airport and the ease in which one can get from the airplane to their rental car is very important. Getting to the meetings and hotel and then reversing the process,will allow you to still catch your homeward bound plane at the airport on time.
