Racing is one of the most famous events in the world; when it comes to auto racing the definite champion is Formula One. Formula One is the world's most technologically advanced and most pleasurable race to watch in the world; that is exactly why most Formula One races manage to draw a TV audience of more than 600 million people.

Formula One races are raced in several different countries around the globe. A typical Formula One race consists of twenty four cars in most cases; generally with two cars per team. Based on the finishing position points are assigned to each individual team and every manufacturer as a way to create rivalry and competition through the year.

Formula One races are about more than just racing though; there is a long standing history behind many of the leading Formula One teams. Sponsorships and prize money are always important as well; mostly due to the price of running and maintaining a competitive Formula One team.

In recent history Formula One has advanced very quickly through new technology. New car and engine designs have really pushed the edge for the race teams, and as a result everything has gotten a lot more expensive. Unfortunately this means new teams are not likely to be successful, thus making it unlikely that many new teams even attempt to join.

Of course technology isn't the only thing advanced about Formula One. Formula One has caused some of the most skilled and precise drivers in the world just because of the speed and competition available. Each race makes new and exciting challenges to each and every team and driver regardless of the previous experience. These new challenges not only make the races exciting for the drivers and teams, they also bring fans back week after week to watch every Formula One race of the season.
