If you haven't heard the name Kevin Hart yet, that is about to change. The comedian is in the midst of his Laugh at My Pain Tour and will be weaving his way throughout the country through New Year's Eve. Hart will be ringing in 2011 at the Chicago Theatre in the Windy City on Dec. 31, 2010, but fans that already have New Year's Eve plans can get Kevin Hart tickets to see him in cities like Baltimore, Md.; Shreveport, La.; Jackson, Miss.; New York, N.Y.; Boston, Mass.; Houston, Texas; Orlando, Fla.; Atlanta, Ga.; Norfolk, Va.; Little Rock, Ark.; Detroit, Mich.; Upper Darby, Pa. and more.

While on tour, Hart will stop off in the Big Apple for the annual New York Comedy Festival. Broadway World reports that the annual event, put on in association with Comedy Central, will be held at various New York City venues from Nov. 3-7. The 2010 lineup features 150 of today's biggest and brightest comedians, such as Kevin Hart, Louis CK, Aziz Ansari, Adam Carolla, Margaret Cho, Gabriel Iglesias, Luis Jimenez, Rosie O'Donnell, Brian Regan and many more. Caroline Hirsch, founder of the famed Caroline's on Broadway and the New York Comedy Festival, gushed to Broadway World, "We strive to continually bring the best and most diverse comedy to the festival each year, and this year is no exception. The panel discussions, Q-and-A's, and sketch and alternative comedy shows continue to prove a broad spectrum of comedy for the festival."

Aside from the New York Comedy Festival, Hart is also teaming up with Comedy Central for a movie. Multichannel News reports that Hart will appear alongside Drake Bell and Leslie Nielsen in Superhero Movie, to premiere on Comedy Central over Halloween weekend. Written and directed by Craig Mazin, known for Scary Movie 3, Superhero Movie tells the story of Rick Riker (Bell), who develops super-human powers after being bitten by a genetically-altered bug. Riker decides to become a superhero, but at the same time scientist Lou Landers (Christopher McDonald) hatches his on plan to become a super villain. Superhero Movie also features cameos by Tracy Morgan, Pamela Anderson, Dan Castellaneta, Jeffrey Tambor and Nicole Sullivan.

Kevin Hart became hooked on stand-up after performing at a Philadelphia comedy club's amateur night, immediately quitting his job as a shoe salesman. Hart took the stage at comedy clubs like The Boston Comedy Club, Caroline's on Broadway, Stand-Up NY, The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and scored is big break after appearing at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. Roles in feature films like Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, Along Came Polly, Fool's Gold, Drillbit Taylor, Epic Movie, Scary Movie 4 and The 40 Year Old Virgin followed.

Aside from his film roles, Hart has popped up on the small screen in his own Comedy Central special "I'm a Grown Man," which debuted as one of the network's highest rated specials, and also took over as host of BET's stand-up comedy series Comic View: One Mic Stand. Hart has also made appearance on ABC's The Big House (which he also executively produced), Undeclared, Love, Inc and Barbershop.
