Keeping your bathroom smelling and looking clean can be a daunting task. With hundreds of selections of cleaning products that offers to help make bathroom cleaning easiest, all you need to do is choose one and be done with cleaning.

However, while chemical agents and products offer the most convenient solution to bathroom cleaning, they are also quite expensive. When all you need is something that can help you fix the water stains, grime, stains and dirt on your shower glass walls and doors, effective and chemical-free cleaning shower glass solutions can be found around your home.

As much as you can use car wax to keep your cars shining glory, you may also apply a layer of car wax over your glass shower cubicle to give it a protective coat against water stains, grime and dirt. This layer will help keep all common glass problems from sticking on the glass surface.

If you are fond of baking and you always have a stock of baking soda in your cupboard, you must know that this common leavening ingredient can also double as an effective glass cleaner. It effectively cleans accumulated dirt without scratching the glossy surfaces of your shower cubicle. In addition to scrubbing sinks and tubs and cleaning other home appliances, powdered baking soda leaves your shower glass sparkly clear and smelling nice.

Another kitchen essential that you can use is white vinegar. You can actually prepare a homemade glass cleaner with a diluted solution of white vinegar. Mix the solution with non-sudsy ammonia and rubbing alcohol to give the solution antibacterial properties. Pour the solution on your spray bottle and use it to clean off the dirt on the glass. Lime scale on glass is hardest to remove. If the ammonia solution did not fully removed the marks then try using Vaseline or petroleum on your glass.

In severe cases, you can actually salvage your glass shower cubicle by soaking it in warm water solution. Drop a couple of polidents to remove accumulated stains and watermarks. Another solution is spreading a thick layer of petroleum jelly on the glass and allowing it to sit overnight. This should take care of all the deposits that your glass shower has accumulated over a period of time.

Another fine and chemical-free cleaning shower glass solution is going organic. Instead of buying bottles of synthetic and often toxic cleaners, try using citric acid or juices from citrus fruits like lemon to scrub off or wipe off the lime deposits on the glass. Soak a crumpled paper or newspaper with this solution and use it to scrub off the dirt from the glass surface.

After all the wiping and scrubbing, there is actually no need to buy specialty cleaning cloths to dry the area. Instead, use old newspapers for drying as well as for applying a light coat of furniture polish to the glass. This should work well in tidying up your glass showers and keeping the steam off your bathroom mirrors, which makes cleaning easier next time.
